This Privacy Policy explains how Jungle Commerce Pty Ltd (“Jungle Commerce”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in connection with Jungle Reports — our read-only analytics and reporting workspace for businesses running on Jungle Commerce. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and align our controls with SOC 2 practices.

1. About Jungle Reports

Jungle Reports presents a customer’s own commerce data — products, inventory, orders, purchasing, fulfilment and warehouse activity — as dashboards, KPIs and exportable reports. It is read-only: it never writes back to your commerce account. For most data we act as a data processor on behalf of our business customers.

2. What is personal information?

Personal information is information about an identified, or reasonably identifiable, individual. This may include names, business roles, email addresses, login activity and IP addresses, and — where present in a customer’s order data — end-customer names, contact details and shipping information.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, biometric, racial, political or religious information) unless required and legally permitted. De-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify an individual is not treated as personal information.

3. Information we collect

Directly: account and contact details of the people who use Jungle Reports (name, business email, role), authentication identifiers, and audit/activity logs (sign-ins, IP address, actions taken).

Indirectly (as a processor): the commerce records in your connected Jungle Commerce account — products, inventory, orders and order lines, purchase orders, transfers, returns, shipments and warehouse movements. Where order data contains end-customer details, we process it solely to provide reporting and analytics to the business that owns it.

4. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, operate and secure the service, render dashboards and reports, deliver reports you schedule, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for advertising, behavioural profiling or marketing, and we do not sell personal information.

5. Google user data & Limited Use

Jungle Reports’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you connect Google Drive, we request access only to deliver the reports and exports you ask us to create. We use that access solely to write export files you request to the folder you choose, and to list folders so you can pick a destination. We do not read your other Drive files, do not use Google data for advertising, do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the feature or as required by law, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security, or as required by law. You can disconnect a drive at any time, which revokes our access.

The same principles apply to Microsoft OneDrive connections.

6. How we hold & secure information

Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based and per-tenant access controls, network egress restrictions, monitoring and audit logging, and secure development practices. Each customer’s data is isolated to that customer.

7. Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to trusted service providers (e.g. cloud hosting) under confidentiality obligations and to the extent needed to run the service, to the business customer that owns the data, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet contractual or legal requirements, after which we securely delete or de-identify it. A business customer may request deletion of their account data at any time.

9. Your rights

Subject to the APPs, you may request access to, correction, deletion or de-identification of your personal information. Where we hold data as a processor on behalf of a business, we will direct such requests to that business. To make a request, email support@jungle.app.

10. Children

Jungle Reports is a business-to-business service and is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

11. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact our Privacy Officer at support@jungle.app. We will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least annually and may update it to reflect changes to our service or legal obligations. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
